    Intake Grate Question

What is the best intake grate to buy for my GP1200 for top speed on glassy water? Somehow my R&D one was ripped off on monday when i was riding and i almost went flying over the handle bars. I was planning on getting another R&D but i wasnt sure if there was a better one to buy. Thanks

    Tim

Correct, and I am running the R&D grate also. I ran a riva grate along time ago, but I don't have any comparison info.

Thanks! Looks like i need to purchase another one and figure out where mine went wrong and why it was torn off. It was on there for almost 2 years with no issues. Blue Loctite on the bolts and 5200 around the whole grate....hmmmm

I didnt get a good look under it yet but by just feeling it and looking quick the whole grate is gone. Not sure if the bolts broke or ripped out. I havent inspected the bolt hole areas yet

What does a Group K "cut" look like? I am familiar with the company, but I`m just curious what they smooth or machine or polish? And if it can be applied to an 1100 Raider ?
