    anyone ever heard of doing this?

    I just got a 95 seadoo xp and the vain on the jet pump nozzel was cut off and smoothed out? Will this effect anything.

    Welcome to GH!

    are you sure its a stock nozzle? if it was removed it wont hurt anything. My R&D steering nozzle doesnt have one.

    ya it has a stock number in just wondering if it makes it better or worse did you notice any differance with it gone? And why did you sharpen it xpfm what did that do?

    I think that its basically a guard so you dont stick your hand in there if its running. your not going to gain anything...cosmetic I believe

    I figured that maybe it had something to do with turning or something. Because you go from a split off nozel and then you turn it more water would flow out of one side then the other. And going stright you have a split water path vs without. I dono

    It was SD's idea of an older OPAS. Mainly meant as an additional force the water git while the nozzle was at an angle, allowing it to turn more aggressively at idle speeds..

    Pretty much a waste... Since it didn't work..

    www.cobrajetsteering.com now that was a kick a** idea.
