    Arrow oil pump questions

I found a new motor to replace the boat anchor in my 94 sl650. It is a 95 650cc.with the variable rate oil pump. The 94 motor had the constant model. Can I still use the 94 intake manifold for the oil injection ports or do I have to try to find a newer flame arrestor with the ports?

You can use the same ports your 94 had used.

One other thing... Your 94 carbs won't have the bracket that attaches to the pumps linkage. Item #29 in the diagram.

Do you mean the little linkage arm after the 1st (rear) carb? The carb rack that came with my 94 has it (may not be the original carbs, I had a shop work on the motor in the late 90's). I do need to order the little white plastic clip that goes on the top of the oil pump linkage and snaps into the carb arm.
Does anybody know where I can get a decent hood knob? mine just broke off in my hand.

Your carbs have this bracket as seen in the pic? If so, cool! I can send ya the plastic retainer.
You may want to contact John Zigler for the knob.

That looks like the identical bracket. If you could spare a plastic clip, that would be great.
