    circle return disable?

    hey guys does anyone know how to disable the circle return feature on a 650sx and replace it with a kill switch lanyard?

    in most places it THE LAW is to have a lanyard type kill switch..

    are you sure there is not a grandfather clause in effect for older skis?

    All you need to do is add the kill switch, the circle function is simply the swirl of the water coming from the pump; you don't need to do anything there. You can also try setting the idle way down on the machine so it dies when not on the throttle. That way you can see if you really want to disable the circle function without spending money. I personally liked the circle function. I had it on my JS550 and 650SX. Then I got a SXR800 and all the swimming gets old. The circle function cuts the swim distance by more than half.

    kill switch

    I bypassed the kill switch on my stand up ski and just let the ski circle. The kill switch always let the ski get too far away before the ski stoped and you had to do alot of swimming to get back on but with the circling just sit still and it will come back to ya with little or no swimming.
