    cool water boost numbers

I have the C1-11 installed, I ski in canada on the great lakes. My question to any one that might know would the boost PSI be higher here because of the cooler air temps and Lake tempatures that in the spring and fall that can get very low.

I beleave the C1-11 can generate 8lbs of boost, is there a chance I might see higher boost numbers?

I have already ordered the powershot to defeat the boost limiter.

I would think that would be a good start. Keep us posted with your results.

    Only with the powershot installed.

You will typically see higher boost numbers in cooler denser air.

I would think you would want the C3-11 wheel to get the full advantage of the Powershot.

I'm installing those two items later today.

You'll definately get more than 8 if you are propped correctly. I've seen as much as 9.3 with the powershot & C1 before it's heat soaked. It usually drops to 8.7 once it's hot, but you'll probably have less loss in the cooler air & water...& probably higher peak #'s too.

Are there any advantages of the C1 over the C3?

    Thanks.

    From what I understand...

C1 = less boost, high performance intercooler not necessary(RD stage 1 intercooler will suffice), Don't have to have power shot

C3 = more boost, high performance intercooler necessary, need powershot

So, the C1 is economically advantagious. I think the C1 is capable of giving you some more performance without having to dramatically upgrade other stuff....

+1, but you will still need the powershot to get the full potential of the C1. Without it, the ECU will limit boost to 7psi when runniung above 7550 rpm. IMO, the C1 will also give the engine a little more longevity than the higher boost wheels.
