Dang I hate this job. Anybody have a better/faster way to remove old 5200 sealant from the hull?

Using a heat gun carfully seems to ease the removal. Caution, to much heat=harm to the smc.

Razor blade as much off as possible, and use laquer thinner to remove the rest.

use a wire wheel brush that attaches to the end of a cordless drill. It will come right off.
