I found this thread, and was just curious.

I have a moded worx for my RXP. The only testing I did was similar to riva in top speed. I Can not comment on handling or hookup as i havnt tested it enough and only tested for stright line speed..

I expected more speed, but i 'm a bit cautious in cutting the wings on my worx, however because the worx sticks a bit out of the hull,i expect it will handle better than a moded stocker, but i didn't test that.

    Thanks,for the info skoepp.

I never ran the worx in stock form as I bought it used with the wings cut and I just cleaned it up a bit.
I would assume that the top speed is better now then in stock form.
From what i have heard is the riva is the fastest for the RXP over the Worx and R and D. So i saw about the same top end with riva and this moded worx so, yes it did pick up speed if that is true.

I did not notice any ill handling affect but i dont cc.

Then we can conclude that the speednumbers are the same as the grates for the t-x.

In your earlier testing you had about ythe same results,i own a t-x ,based on your testing i bought the worx for my t-x.

Handles great ,great cornering, best in chop.

I 'm thinking of cutting the wings of the worx grate, but i get various answers ,
some say the handling is bad,the other says handling is the same ,but more speed.

I really like my worx grate ,i'm a bit anxious cutting the grate up.

I would not say that you can for sure cross over the test results, as the pump tunnels are totally different.

I have a T-X and the worx is best IMO. I would not mess with the wings on the worx on that ski if you need the hookup. I have done back to back with riva, worx, r and d 1st gen. and stock moded on T-X.
They are very similar in top speed with actually the stock moded being the fastest but lacked in everyday hook up that the r and d and worx have.

You could be on to something but I dont think the gain your going to have in top end cutting the wings will out way the hookup you probably loose.

If you looking for more speed but willing to sacrifice some hookup, cut the wings off the stock moded and see what happens unless you can afford to cut up a worx..

I moded the stock intake, and first gonna do some testing on this one.
    Gonna test speed.max rpm's,and cornering.

But i think the same as you,is it worth to cut up the worx?
Gonna compare the worx and stock moded end of this week.
Speed, max rpm's and handling,do all this on the same day, otherwise you can't compare the results.

I bought myself a garmin gps,so hopefully i have some accurate numbers.

I read all the testing you did,so i know what to expect.

    Today i did some testing.

I moded my stock grate, and compared it with the worx.

Worx 8160-8180 rpm 71.1 mph slight chop

Moded stocker 8100-8120 rpm 71.6mph slight chop

    Water temp 66 F Daytemp 72 F

I thought the worx was better in chop, but the gps proved me wrong.

Maybe in heavier chop the Worx is faster.

Did some cornering but the stocker handled ok.

Between the Worx and stocker there is a drop of 60 rpm's.

If i decide to cut the wings of the Worx i will post some test results, but still not sure if i gonna cut my grate up.
