How Does Open Loop cooling work on a 155hp NA engine

I have read all the diagram and do not see a pump to move the water to the water pump. Do you have to drill a hole of pull water from the outside?

Water pressure from the pump forces water to the engine. An additional pump is not necessary.

Why do you want open loop on a 155 hp engine?

Do open loop or heat exchanger for the new riva ride plate. I broke my plate and intake grate recently. Did not know where the raw water was coming from?

    Ok ,that's a good reason.

I didn't know there was a rideplate available for your model.

I thougt it was for 215 and 255 hp only.

I checked and you'r right, succes on the installing.

Read the thread on the open loop carefully, there are some issues.

The 215 ride plate will fit all of the 4-tec models that share the same hull with the RXT (GTX, GTX SC, GTX LTD, WAKE, etc)

This is actually one of the only mods I know of that will add much speed to the 155s. I think you will see more bang for the buck out of this than anything.
