    pto removal

    which way does it turn to come off? normal threads or are the reversed? who wants to let me borrow their pto removal tool

    Left = Loose Right = Tight

    I had to heat mine with a torch and it still took an impact gun to get it off.

    thats what i figured im letting some pb blaster soak into it over night and see what happens tomorrow

    I heat them up with my propane torch, then they come right off. I do use a PTO tool with a 1/2" breaker bar.

    What you want is a chain wrench. Make sure to buy one with in inside diameter that is at least as large as your PTO.

    Actually, I found the tool at island racing. $37 plus shipping. I got it the other day, just haven't used it yet.
