    GPS vs speedometer

Why do so many folks post their speed via GPS. Is the speedometer not good enough?

Because the majority of the core members here have skis that are faster than 70mph which is the limit of the speedo.

The GPS is the most accurate way to tell what your speed is. My speedometer is off by 4.5 miles.
