1390 Triple piper
Am puling ski down getting ready to go from 1200cc bored out to 1300cc triple piper,am wanting to go the full hog 1390BB triple pipe but seems a lot of people have been steering me away from it and that not many have been done before, could you please advise me on the doo,s and donts on going the 1390 triple pipe,
My ski will have porting machining by Lowel
Trued & welded crank
FP triple pipes
Riva bomb Mikuni carbs
Riva gas valves
Riva billet head with domes machined by Lowell
and all the fast bolt ons
The ski is a Riva lightened Hull from Riva
MSD total loss
What do you think this ski should run top speed

Hard to say what it will do. There are so many things to consider. Either way it should be an 80 + boat without a problem. Usually, from what i hear is that you have to learn the "don'ts" right after it blows up.
There will probably be some tripple savvy people chime in to give you some things to look out for. You will more than likely be fine, but will have to really pay close attention to the boat and show it some love. The tripples seem to be more tempermental than any of the single pipes.

A riva lightened hull is about 50 pounds lighter than stock ,it is not a hull purchased as a recreational ski from a dealer,it is purchased from riva built by riva as a special,i dont think you can buy them anymore, they use them for super stock boat hulls,it hink they take 1 layer of skin of the boat and clean up all the excess glue in the hull,
so what do you think 1390 triple or 1300 triple
