Where are the hours stored in the 06 skis?

Does any one know for sure where the hours are stored in the 06 skis? Seems it is different for the 04-05, 06, and 07-08 skis.

I think for the 06 it is only in the display and maybe MPEM. I ask for a couple of reasons. I have my ECU for sale and several people are leery about buying it because I had 202 hours when I swapped it out for the Riva ECU. They think the hours are stored in the ECU. Also because when I had my display changed out it showed 0 and there was no resetting it to the 202 hours the ski actually had. The BUDS also showed 0 hours. Then when were were looking at all the options it showed 190 on another screen, but the ski had 202 when they changed the display, so that has to be for something else. Just doesn't make sense.
