1200 convert to EFI or go Tripple pipe?

well, since I snagged a ring 2 weeks ago, I have disassembled everything and am in the process of the rebuild over the off season. I am debating on going EFI or making it a tripple Pipe. I have new sleeved cyls (not ported but have 1100 kawi flat tops) in them. I am concerned about being able to properly tune the carbs with the tripples and another rebuild is really not in the budget if I smoke this motor again. Im looking for some suggestions and or comments. Any help will be more than appreciated!!

EFI will be sweet, but what are the pro's and cons?

I don't see a need to go EFI, not really much gains in performance over carbs especially for the amount of time and money. If it was EFI to begin with sure keep it. But I wouldn't convert to EFI.

Just get your carbs jetted right and tuned in. I'd would get those cylinders ported or go big bore and ported.

Yea, I hear ya on the porting. I sure would love to have it done but unfortuatly my pockets are not that deep. My reasoning for going EFI is

    1. for fuel economy
    2. I can get the parts from a friend at a very reasonable price.

Steeevo, Sorry I missed your post.

it is a 2000 with a lot of "FUN" hours.

I should have added that I will be replacing the crank as well due to having over 200 hrs on the bottom end.
