How bare or complete is the SLT hull?
Does the SLT have the steering and reverse cables, fuel tank, etc?

I just did that switch. Wanted the bigger hull too. Rides totally different with the deep-v. Engine is easy to work on too.
This is providing you have 2 runnings skis!-----
Removed motor only with stator attached and starter and triple carb set up with lines still connected to the triple fuel pump.. Of course the cdi box n all the wiring needs to be cut or used in the other hull. I'm using the slt cdi box with the other sl engine.no problems. "The Motor don't care, it just wants juice!"
I'm also using the existing slt rubber exhaust hose in the rear of the craft. it seemed to fit better.I tried the sl first. Also put on a newer pump that I bought a while back. nice n smooth inside and the impellor looks good. Man does it hook up good. 2 seconds and your on plane!!!!
Good luck on the project! Great hull to work with. fun to fish off of too!~

For a big dude like yourself Sean you are going to really like the SLT hull.
Very stable, and a lot of fun to spin. Theres a certain point at about 40-45 mph on flat water that you can actually slide the sucker sideways while it is still hooked up and pumping. You'll enjoy it. From one 6' 215 pounder to another.
