Thread: Electrical box

I have a 95slt electrical box that I'm switching out on my 95sl. The only thing that looks different is the voltage regulater box is a lot smaller on the slt box. Will this still work ok since the one on my slt is bigger.

The slt had the LR21, and the sl had the LR23. The sl needs the 23 for the orange wire to feed the trim that the slt didn't have. Swap the LRs and you should be good.

What engine size on the SL?
SL 650 or SL 650 STD?
What Polaris part number on each regulator?
Is there an LR code marked on each regulator?
The 1995 SL 650 and 1995 SLT 750 has two modules;
4060108 REGULATOR/RECT LR-21
4060110 SWITCH-RECTIFIER LR-52
1995 SL 750 and 1995 SL 650 STD has one;
Substituted by 4060171
Superseded by 4060192 (LR-23)
The LR-21 is only a voltage regulator for controlling battery charging.
The LR-52 (4060110) is a switch for powering up the Orange wire (bilge pump and/or electric Trim).
It also has a special switched Red/White output for the analog fuel gauge (Fuji 750).
The LR-23 is a combination module, with both voltage regulation and switched Orange power output functions.
