    Question 96 1100 Yamaha

I am new here with a 96 1100 waveraider question. I took the oil injection pump off to start premixing. I made a flat plate to cover the hole. My question is some of the plates I see for sale have a nipple on the back side the fits into the hole. Is this nipple necessary or will I be fine with a flat block off plate.

Thanks for the info on the plate. The ski had 19 hours on it when I bought it a month ago. Now its showing 22.4 hours could this be the real hours, the ski looks like its new. Does the hour meter trip

The under side of the Ski looks mint. I also bought a 88 500 wave jammer from the guy and it looks and runs exellent. I had to take the carbs off the 1100 and clean them only. The carbs have never been off or taken apart. The factory screws still had the paint on them and were stuck to the carb by the paint.

    The 1100 runs exellent.

Wow only 19 hours thats great. It has been sitting thats why the carbs needed a clean check all the rubber components and lines also for cracking and leaks.

All the cover has to do is keep water out. I usually glue the plates on with permatex to help seal them.
