    IR impeller true/balance/finish

Who recommends doing this? It makes sense that solas (or any other company) doesnt make everything to perfect tolerances. What type of gains are usually seen if any? And what excatly does the race finish do? Does it wear off after a while? (salt water)

truing and balancing is definately worth it. the finishing does nothing more than hide the tool marks and make the prop pretty again.

make sure you run the prop and record max rpm and holeshot performance. it may need a repitch and that info is critial for anyone to properly bend the prop for max performance on your ski.
