    DF 14/20 @7000rpms

As you can probably guess I forgot my gps at home today. I put the ski back together and went for a ride.
    Temp was 96 degrees
    humidity was 57%
    Glass water
    half fuel

Box stock 14/20 dynafly was always between 6990-7010 rpms with the trim up one from neutral, neutral was 6980-7000, and nose all the way up was 6980-7000.

mods are= modded and trued R&D ride plate, R&D 1200 intake grate, 14/20 df (no cone), trued hull, bucket removed, air screen drilled, syphon tube removed and welded, visability stream ground and welded, plugs indexed, comercial tiny tach, ppk, and stepped sponsons.

So far I have pretty much nothing done under the seat so it sounds promising to me. I feel pretty confident I can turn some good #s when I start on the power adders now. Will bring GPS next time (already in the ski).

I know they have some variances but does anyone know what the speed I can expect from this prop-rpm combo? Thanks guys.

    I would guess 69-70

    My buddies 06 w/ 14/20 goes 71.8 @ 7160 in 96 degree temps.

Thanks guys, that sounds like a great starting point to me! Ive been trying to get the outside angled, trued, and lined up before I went any farther. Except for a transom plate issue I think Its almost ready. 70 is where I wanted to start.

You guys are a wealth of information! Thanks

What problem are you having with the transom plate?

Its not lined up correctly, in the rear on the right side its sitting .040 low and not flush with the tab.

I took the gps with me today and did a best of 69.8 with an average of 69.6. but the rpms were a little lower at 6940-6960. I dont really know where the 50rpms went from yesterday to today, it was actually a little cooler today and nothing was touched on the ski overnight. A little more humidity though.

I changed a few things around tonight when I got home so I will try again tommorow.
