Owners of S/C Yamaha's... How has Your Reliability Been?

Yamaha Owners, How has your reliability been on your super charged Yamahas? Please list any trouble you have had since you put your PWC into service. Include any mods you have done before or after the trouble (if any). If your ski has not given you any trouble, list this also. Thanks to any and all info....

    Only about 13 hours.
    2009 FZS

    Mods so far:
    Intake Filter
intake slleve/ribbon removed (a pita to do btw)
    Foam inserts removed
    R&D Grate
    Shimmed Rideplate
    JD Sponsons
    Gay Spray Gone
    No More Stckers
    Jet Trim Seat Cover(s)

Only issue was dealer never put anti-sieze or loctite or anything on battery terminals and the + came off at 5 hours, - was falling off as well.
Fixed on water and loctited when home.
    No issues since on anything.
Power seems to be better and response is noticeably better than new.

Looped what did you do to the Foam inserts?? This is for the engine can get more air in and with what did you replace it with for water can not get in???

    Thanks

I just took off about 4 bolts on each side cover (the right side has the reverse lever but if you remove the bolts you can spin the cover up and access the foam easy enough on that side. Took the foam inserts out.
Originally I took them because they were a huge obstruction but have since read they also will suck in and cause problems if they block the holes...
I don't think I noticed any power gain from that but it did sound a little better..
Ohh, I still have the plastic cowl covers on and I have done a few turn arounds and really submerged the front end and no water has got in yet..that I know of...

There is still a hole there and water will still get in, probably not as much with the insert there.

Those foam inserts are nothing more than an air restricter. NOT water restrictor. Pull em out.

On topic 90 hours on conversion, 46 on SHO. Motors running great and motors are stock.
