The official"What are you doing about your economy"thread

In an effort to be more positive in these trying times, lets hear what we are doing to improve it, rather than whats wrong with it. I'll start!!
My wife was laid off 2 days after election day. Then I read a post Yoyamma had made about how times like this force people to start their own business. So thats what we did!! We opened our restaurant this past Thursday. In doing so we have created not only a job for my wife but 2 other full time jobs and 2 part time jobs. Things have been going well and look to get better. We already have regulars and word of mouth is the best form of advertisment. Our news paper add didnt hurt though.

I too lost my job of almost 9 years 2 days after the election. I figured I better get out there and start to really sell the AMSOIL products. I like that way more than sitting behind a desk for 11 hours a day.

Velma's Cafe. Now that looks like a place for some good home-style groceries.
    Congratulations and good luck.
