Adding an extra bilge
I ruined my TPS, I'm assuming it shorted out from water damage. I want to add an extra bilge around my throttle body area.
Should I go with an auto system or a on/off switch system? If my dumb ass leaves the switch on "ON" and theres no water will I burn up the pump?

i just ordered an automatic 500gph rule from amazon. i'm gonna wire it to the lanyard wiring so it comes on everytime i start my ski (so i never forget to turn it on.. or off). it cycles every 2.5 mins looking for water, if there is then it stays on til the water is gone, or else it just shuts off and waits
50 bucks on amazon

I'm pretty sure there are pumps that are made to run dry. I know on the old polaris' (maybe more manufacturers too) that as long as the motor was on the pump was running.

It was a little more work to sit there pushing the button untill the water was gone, but there was no chance of leaving it on and ruin the pump or draining the battery]
