Horrible luck with both my sea doos this past year.
My rxp is not getting any power to the prop at all. It started as an occasional slip at high RPMs, but now there is no propulsion at all. Engine is running fine as far as i can tell, the power just isn't getting anywhere. It idles at 0mph and giving it gas just revs up the engine like a car in nuetral.
Heading over to PPG tomorrow to see what's up with it, what should i expect

Does the drive shaft spin?

dont trust me, but maybe its your ring seal thing in the pump? I think if its really worn down you will get a lot of prop spin or something...

check your carbon ring seal at your driveshaft and the boot too, the same thing happened to me so I went the the skat track driveshaft seal...

Could be stuff caught in the impeller. Should be a 1 hour job and $0 to fix yourself if you've never done it before. 20 minutes if you have.

Some people have worn the splines off one end of the driveshaft or the other due to bad engine/pump alignment or a broken engine mount. Maybe you shreaded your wear ring?... Ron

(out of water) The driveshaft spins, the impeller spins, the seal looks fine, and the wear ring looks fine too. I'm pretty sure i broke a motor mount though sooo the splines are worn ?
