im currently running a r&d modded plate but im wondering is there any speed to be by shimming the stocker?

I'm also interested in the answer to this. Problem is, since the FZ was released, a lot of the people that have lots of experience with his stuff have either switched over from the SHO or just skipped the whole SHO thing.

If you shim the stock plate it will hang below the transom plate & scrub speed unless you have it machined. Shodude had his stock plate done by Jim & it wasn't as fast as Jim's R&D SHO plate & still bounced.

hmm i figured it would hang to low hopefully soon there will be a way to fix the bouncing without robbing speed
