    Rocker shaft install question

On the 08 motor, is there a procedure that needs to be done when re-installing the rocker arm shaft?

#3 cylinder..one closest to front of the ski at TDC and the cam locked into position with the cam pin or a phillips screw driver that goes in the hole if u dont have the pin! the bolts go to 20 newton meters OR 15 ft lb..... then finnish with a 90 turn. this is the tightening sequence:

    6 5 2 1 3 4

as the way the bolts are in the rocker shaft!

    Thanks REID...

To make sure... the piston being at TDC is for installation purposes.. not any calibration purposes...

#3 being tdc takes the pressure off of the rocker shaft and lets it sit flush before tightening the bolts. All valves are closed. No need to lock the cam either. WABOFDW's........

Make sure you use new bolts. I was told they were torque to yield bolts and weren't reusable.
