How difficult is it to remove and re-attach the trim cables from the grip assembly. Is it roughly equlivent to a motorcycle throttle?

No... Theres 2 springs and 2 balls internally that either snap back into place very easilly or take an unusually frustrating amount of time... Theres definately a wrench hole in my garage wall from a battle with one.

crap, thats not what I was hoping to hear. I've gotta remove them so I can route them thru the steering stem as they are currently rubbing on my steering hole cover. Would it somehow be easier to disconnect them where they attach up in the front of the hull?

It's a lot easier to disconnect them from the Cam up front
