    Oil Preasure Gauge Installation????

Does anyone have any idea where on the 4-tec engine you can hook-up a mechanical oil preasure gauge?

I`ve been thinking the same thing: here is an idea:

see if you can install a "T" at the stock oil pressure switch location, you may have to run a remote line to the gauge sender if there isn`t enough room, the aftermarket senders are usually big. unless you go with a mechanical, then it`s just the capilary tubing, and at that point I think I would use very high quality stainless braided hose with AN fitting to insure there would be NO leaks...

I`m looking into this also!...Going to install the gauge in the other pod.
onlu draw back to the electrical series gauges that they aren`t totally real time, and the needle doesn`t move in synch with the actual oil pressure. If you choose the long capilary tube, it would take several seconds for the oil pressure to reach the gauge, you almost never get all of the air out of the line...PR...

There is a plug in the back of the head you can remove and install the oil pressure gauge.
