    Cool Buying a XPL $300

Might be buying a XPL friday for $300 with trailer, blown motor, and I mean blown, that 951 is only good for an anchor, do you think is a good deal? i think so lol. I'l post some pics and info on this P.O.S. the only thing thats going to be a pain in the ass is how to put back a 951 and figuring out where the hoses and wires go, i've never worked on a 951 only 787's,

the mpem is easily worth that alone. would say buy it, part it out, and with that money buy a "less" blown ski. my .02

as long as the mpem is not fired along with the motor, its a steal at 300. get it. either way you come out ahead.

    $300 + $1500 for rebuild = $1800 good deal for a xpl
    or
    $300 - part out = $$$$

good deal either way. i would jump on it. as long as he has a title and its not a complete wreck.

i'm currently bringing a submerged GTX back to life it was flooded, engine was seized, i'm rebuilding it, waiting on my carbs to come in and raves(these parts were no good) carbs were corroted and raves i had to drill them out, I got some pictures on myspace but i will post them up here. everything else is in great shape. i paid $750 with a new fairly new sportsman trailer.

the engine wouldnt turn over but after pressure washing it and using a mix, of tranny oil and acetone worked better than WD-40, the mix was blended on a 1:1 ratio
