2001 Seadoo GTX DI project
I have an opportunity to purchase a 2001 GTX DI that has a hole in the side of the engine. I don't know how big it is and the ski is still intact. I looked at this ski briefly in the past but I wanted a running ski and it was really rough cosmetically. Now I have the opportunity to purchase it for $500. What are the odd the hole can be welded?
As you might have seen from another thread, I have a friend going to be rebuilding his RX DI so I am wondering if this would make a good winter project or if I should just buy it and sell off the parts.
I plan to see it again in the next couple of weeks, but I thought I should get some input here in the meantime.
