Thread: X- charger ?

  1. #1

    X- charger ?

Don't want to ask a stupid question but I need to know.Is the x-charger you guys are talking about the stock RXP-X charger that you can buy from the dealer ? What will this do to a stock 04 RXP.Will I have to do more to make this work ? Does this have any negative effects on reliablity ? Or is the Riva gen I a better choice for a stock motor ?
    Thanks

It's the p/t-x oem charger. You'll need to bump up the fuel and prop.

    You will go faster.

If you're on the limiter with an oem wheel....stepping up will require you to steepen the oem prop anyway.

Why crawl when you want to run?

Yes, its the stock X charger that is available from Seadoo. You can also buy it on this forums online store

On a stock RXP you will also need to add 42 lb injectors to run this supercharger. Your ski will still be very reliable with this upgrade.

Gen 1 doesn't even come close in performance to an X charger.

with that set up on a RXP w/ stock intercooler id recommend a 14/19r, if you plan to add a external intercooler id plan on running a 15/20r
