07 rxp chewing coolant!
I have a 07rxp, has about 50hours on the engine, latley its been chewing threw coolant!
i filled up the bottle to just below the maximum level. Took it out, went threw half a tank of gas. Came home, flushed the ski and the coolant is below the low level mark on the bottle now.
Have i got a leak in my lines somewhere?
or is it an engine problem?

I don't believe you should fill it to the max line when it is cool. It will expand when the engine heats up and will actually cause you to be over full and leak out.
Did you notice coolant in the hull from any leaking fittings to the rideplate? Did you check your oil to see what it looks like, if any coolant was in it?

Do any work around the thermostat lately and remove hoses?
If so make sure the hose going from the coolant tank to your thermostat is on the front fitting on the side of the thermostat. If you have it crossed with the hose coming from the oil cooler you will puke coolant out of your tank.

Take the clear line from the water bottle and hang it out from under the seat into the foot well, warm up the ski and take it for a wide open throttle run and when you drop the throttle, observe the hose.....if it chunders coolant get a leak down test done on the engine as you may have head gasket issues.

I havn't done any work on the thermostat lately, i cheked ally hoses to see if there are any splits/leaks in the hoses and they are fine.
I will pull the clear tube out to the footwell and check if anything is coming out when im driving.
There has been coolant in the hull, as when i washed it out last time a bit came ou the bungs.
thanks for everyones help,i will let you know what happens

this may not be a place to look, I'm still learning the 4-tec, but check your rideplate bolts on top of the rideplate. I've seen posts where members ridelate bolts leak. Maybe there is a leaky spot that once the engine is warmed up it leaks more.
