something to replace the resonator with ?

i have a 07 gtx limited with the resonator box removed ( and a number of diffrent mods done ) just wondering if there is maybe a aftermarket short stainless steel resonator out there that can be put after the water box --- i have seen a 12" one for cars but that is still a bit to long -- any ideas anyone ? with out the bafflebox installed and at 2500 to 3000 rpms the noise can give a headache -- plus i would like to calm the noise down some --i want my ski to be a "sleeper" not a noise box to draw attention to !

    JFizzleJr,

Well.....he was being all sneaky like he was gonna pull that sleeper stuff on one of us.

    Heh.

The only "sleeper" that I know of using a resonator...it's a stock one though....belongs to Sundance. He runs without an external ic and is over 71mph.

I do believe I could put my resonator back on and better that, even.

Could he run your ic on an x bracket and use the oem resonator?

    sniper300,

I'd be intersted in hearing one of those....or hearing some feed back on one.

All you need is a piece of exhaust pipe from the autozone thats 2.5 in. in diameter and about 6 in. long. Just put that in place of the resonator

Its still plenty quiet. I ran that setup for a while. Its in between the through hull with the greenbox and the stock exhaust. Its not that bad. If ya wanna go fast you have to sacrafice some of the stock comforts!!
