    Accel. Pump?

I am trying to determine if my '95 polaris 750 xlt has accelerator pumps. I think it is a Mikuni. But, I am not even sure of that. Can you help me identify my carbs. I can take pic's but I am uncerntain of what angles would be of interest. Any advice is appreciated.

Welcome Frederick. The 750 came with Mikuni SBN 38s. They do not have accelerator pumps. Heres a guide for your carbs...

No, your watercraft does not have accelerator pumps...they only came on watercraft with the domestic engine and Keihin carburetors. You should have Mikuni carbs as you thought.

Thanks, My engine runs fine without a load. As soon as I put it in the water it dies. I have vacuum checked fuel lines, checked fuel pressure, filters,... What else might I check before checking for crankcase seal. Also, do you know where I can get blocking plates for the cylinder ports to do crank test If that's next or should I make them myself?

Is this ski new to you? Have you checked compression? What fuel pressure did you find? Has the fuel system been checked, fuel lines replaced? Carbs cleaned? The symptoms you give sound like a lean issue if the compression is ok.

Check where the low speed set screws are set at and compare them to specs., they may need to be turned outward. But be sure to check out all the other things Starflight mentioned.
