The ski is oil injection and runs 30:1 at WOT. The oil tank is 1 gallon. Just check the oil tank every ride and if its a little low fill it back up.

It all depends on your riding style. But if I remember correctly I would go through about one gallon of oil for about every 6-7 tanks of gas with the stock oil injection....however, that was a long time ago and my memory isn't all it used to be...

yes, it has a low oil level warning light, but i rated a very low oil consumption of a little more than 1/4 gal. per 2 tanks of fuel, wich means a 1,2% fuel/oil ratio. is this normal ?? if it is, then it works almost without oil

I just bought a 08 gp1300r, and I'm adding about a 1/2 quart to every full tank of gas, maybe a little less. Do not run oil reserve too low or out, or you'll have to prime again.

I have an 07 gp1300r and I never go more than 3 tanks of gas before filling the oil... There's usually about half a tank, but it's not worth risking an air bubble in the oil lin from jumping or rough water sloshing the oil.

    Just my $.02
