    DIY Shorty Waterbox

If taking out all the baffle plates then should i cut the exit pipe flush with the side wall or do i leave it as it is? Some say it should be left so in effect the water gets sucked out/puched out with the pressure,
OR do i cut it flush and let the gasses pust it round the walls and out or does this cause lots of water to build up inside and possiblly get back into the engine. Thanks
