That's who I was going to suggest. Seems very willing to help out when a ski needs to travel pretty far.

X, what is a rough estimate of what it will cost? 200-300 bucks? Its just a bare hull, so how heavy could a guted B1 hull weigh, 100-125lbs at most.

????? You need to contact John.

Not so much weight any more, but size also.

Shipping companies have caught on that a large light packager can take away $$ from many small light or heavy ones.

That's why the post office has a surcharge now for "oversized" boxes.

It cost me almost $50 to send 7lb Sportster exhaust pipe to TX. Because of the size, tacked on the $20 surcharge.

It was only going to cost $30 by weight and distance alone!!!!!!!!!

I was pi$$ed that there was no mention of this on the website when calculating shipping cost.

There are a lot or shippers that can do it. Yellow etc.. What helps keep the cost down it if you ship it to a business address and with something that big, make sure it has a loading dock.

That will bring the price down to the lowest possible rate.

Then there are always private shippers like at www.uship.com.

Good luck....Sometimes shipping can cost more than the purchase price on stuff like that.
