    Mods that Won't void warranty

Which mods can i do to my 260x that will not void the warranty? I bought the 4 yr extended warranty, so i dont want to do anything that could get it voided. Since i cant drive it right now, i might as well do something to it lol

Rideplate is safest bet. Any thing else they can try to pin it on you depending on the dealer. They have to prove the mod caused the failure if you want to get into that argument

If you want to mod and keep warranty do bolt-ons that you can easily change it back to stock before you take it to the dealer should something go wrong.

And it never helps to make some new friends w/ the guys at the dealership, then they will just overlook any mods.

I agree..it will really depends on the dealer you get service from on how warranty claims get handled when it comes to MODS.

you can get the riva ride plate and the 2 deg wedge and the pump shoe kit, you can send your pump and impeller to impros, and u can raise your seat and do other mods to improve the air

but my dealer a. will install any mod you want OR they will back any mod you do 10o percent an example a dude had an 07 250x did all the mods you could do to it at the time to include the riva PRO intake he had water ingestion via the intake...fckd the engine and the dealer was going to fix it all under warranty but then DUDE sank it..... again it all depends on the dealer ask them show them se what they say

r and d and 2 deg wedge for sure u wont see the 2-3 mph increase as with the riva but u should see a 1.5 -1.8 increase check out the 250xtech site for sure and teammoto site you can find all the hands on stuff a complete impros speed mod will cost you around 250 bucks mine cost more as i had them put in new bearings....the i/c reroute shold be ok and actually allows the i/c to work better

it is like a trim i force the nose up out of the water allowing more speed but u do loose some stabilty esp with the riva but with the r&d you will be fine it comes as 2 deg and one deg get the 2 deg it attaches to the pump

I have had the 2 degree and the one degree. The two degree keeps you drier but less stable at high speed. the one degree feels more planted. Do some searching and make up your own mind. Or try both. Pretty easy to change out.

Here is a link with some mods. Post number 12 is the wedge.
