    250x Pistons

My ski is at the dealer and they are gonna replace the rings due to crack in head causing water in oil. My question, should I have them put in 09 pistons while they are at it? if so anything else involved? or just slap 09s in and go? Will they do this under the extended warranty if i pay for pistons or will it void warranty?

Do it. pistons just slot in. make sure they use new rod blots if the remove the crank. Up to them if they cover you or not.

what did they determine was the culprit for the cracked head. I'm going through the same ordeal however i think my cracked head is a result of improper torquing of the head bolts...by the dealer.

My Service Department replaced the pistons in my '07 with the '09's, I payed for them and and extra 30 mins labor.......... as the rest of the motor tear down was covered under warranty..........and it all depends on your releationship with your Service Department as to how things go...........Ill have to say it has got me to where I should be on how my ski is running............
