    Flame Arrestor Cover Cracked

Got a 94 SL650. How important is it to seal the flame arrestor cover. Mine has a crack in it and wont seal down well. Also, someone has 'trimmed' the plastic 'thingy' that goes on the end of the FA, where is this supposed to go to?

It's not much of a problem. May take a little water in at the crack is all.

Did the cut the rubber inlet? If so, pretty sure that was recommended by Polaris as the stock inlet was quite restrictive.

I have a good used F/A for $20 if you're interested in it.

I may just have to take you up on that offer, I want to restore this ski as close to original as I reasonably can, and a cracked FA looks like crap. How much to ship to Canada, postal code T1K 0Z7. Also do you guys use the rubber inlet thingy or not, mine is cut up so high it seems like its not even worth running.

I have this rubber thingy from a 95 650 that you can have for the cost of shipping it to xlint89 so he can combine shipping to you.

What a great bunch of people here on the forums. It would be great if you could ship that 'thingy' over to xlint89 and I can repay you the shipping costs. Now all I need to find is a crankshaft and a triple outlet fuel pump and I should be set to get this thing back together. How exciting!

My rubber "thingy" is in good shape, and about that size as well. Up to you if you want Starflight's.

Shipping to Canada is a bit high. Prob be around $16-18 USD.

Yeah, I kinda expected that much for shipping. That is through USPS right? Whatever you do, don't ship with UPS to Canada, we get screwed with a $50 broker fee every time! Besides, I am not in that much of a hurry to get the parts, it is October in Canada, not really boating weather. PM me a total and how you want me to pay. Thanks!
