    got my parts in.. fly wheel ???

    ok i got my update kit for my sl1050.. going to take the fly wheel cover off . do i have to unhook the trottle linkage from the front of the cover or can i leave it hooked up and just move it to the side to get to the stator?

    If you can easily remove it, then do it. You might kink the cable if left on accidentally.

    what i would do is just loosen the throttle cable from the intake manifold then just slide it over by the manifold ,but be carefull not only can those lines get pinched but the lines are held on by spring clamps that look like bread ties ,

    ok .. yeah i think its only two bolts to the front i just did not want to move it then hae to try and adjust it or loos pieces. thanks guys!
