    help on gp mods

hi guys new to the forum but have been reading up on the posts for a while. ive got an 08 gp1300r its stock with a pump seal kit and was thinking of adding a r&d d-plate and chip, free flow exhaust and a riva E.F.I fuel unit. is this advisable and will speed gains be seen? i read that the free flow lowers speed and should only be used with higer compression than stock.

i use the ski on flat conditions in lakes and am looking for top speed.

also read that i should renforce my tunnel if im modifiyin my craft? any help would be much appericated as im new to modyifing my craft thanks.

I would not add the free flow especially if your looking for top speed. You can do the dplate and chip but they will not really add any speed either.

Best mph for the money would be an aftermarket ride plate, one that is modded for more angle. You can pick up an easy 3mph+ from that one part.

Again I would not do the free flow for just sound, just makes it louder and goes about .5 to 1mph slower. Spend the money on a intake grate and ride plate first.

Sound on Free Flow is great. I put it in with d-plate and holeshot kit. Needed EFI to add fuel down below.
