New to this site, whats up guys

I have been reading on this sight for the last few months, and it seems like it is a great sight to get info.

I never had a jet ski in my life, but I have been riding them here and there.

I have an opportunity to buy a 2008 Sea Doo RTX 215 hp, black with only 3 hours on it for $6700.
Do you guys think that is a good deal, and is there any problems with that machine.

    Thanks toofast

Welcome to the forum. That price is not only good, it appears too good to be true. It's not an ebay/craigslist ski is it?

    Thanks
Yea, I found it on Craigs list.
The good thing is, he lives one town over from me.
I guess the guy is getting a divorce and he wants to unload it quick because he needs the money.
I have not seen the ski yet, but he tells me it is in new condition.
I will be taking a look at it tomorrow.

Well, if it is a legitimate deal, that is an awesome price. But I would be very careful. It smells very fishy.

Yea, that does seem like a killer price to me, but I live up here in
New Hampshire so Jet Ski season is short, that is why there are some real good deals.
I looked up the vin # and every thing is fine, and as a matter of fact, it is at a dealer under consignment.

Does it come with a trailer? I paid $8400(us) out the door for a NEW 2008 rxp, minus a trailer so $1700 diffrence. Are T's about the same price as an rxp?

If that price includes a new trailer then thats a good deal if not then id say thats a fair price.

MAKE SURE to get down on the dirty ground and check the bottom of the ski to see if their is any gelcoat delamination. The smallest chip can turn your $6700 into an expensive flower pot.

    Thanks for that info JF.
The ski comes with a trailor, cover, Fire extinguisher, and 3 life vest.
