How do you keep a RXP in the water ?
Hey guys ...
I bit new to the RXP thing ..
After Racing Xp`s the last ten years and so use to a ski that hooks up and turns on a dime ...
How the hell do you get these RXP to handle ..Yes I know its not a XP or a XPL ..
I am running a Riva stage 3 kit with a C kit SC from Seadoo Center and a Skat 14/19 ..
We run a tight track here at OZ and find with the trim down you loose too much power has any one made or found a drop lever system for these ?
Just find if you trim down it handles but the trim is too slow to change in time from the corner to straight then to corner.
Any ideas ??? There has to be a drop nozzel set up operated by a lever set up ... I have seen the drop tabs but big $$$...

Remember back in 95 when seadoo went with a 2" extension on the XPL's and how much better than handled and stayed hooked up compared to previous year models?
You can do the same thing with your RXP
The difference the pump extension kit makes is incredible!

Pete, there is also a kit for the RXT-X
This mod gives a huge improvement to an RXT-X and is a benefit to any offshore racer. Poppa Dawg uses this kit on his race ski. You can do a search and find his comments about it.
Yes, you can still run the pump extension kit with the Riva ride plate.

I agree with Jerry. The set back pump on the 95 XP 800 Limited made all the difference in the world, as compared to the 96 model that didnt have it.
I just remember it being awsome on that boat!

I am looking at the riva plate for my ski and looking to see that my set back pump will work with no ill effects.
I ran Speedfreeks plate with the set back and it seemed to work fine, so i figured it would work ok with the riva plate.
