Using your drive shaft tool push back the support ring & carbon seal and remove the C-clip (leave the pump on when trying toget the clip out) Then i like to give the pto bearing for the drive shaft a tap with a hammer and piece of wood to free it up then the shaft should slid out. If the bearing it stuck and you dont free it up you could end up ripping the boot or pulling the bearing apart.

You don't need any special tools to remove the driveshaft from an RXP. Here is a How To. http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=92151

you need to push the support ring back to reveal the c clip, use your driveshaft removal tool as it is easyer.

just make sure you leave the pump on to hold the driveshaft while pushing on the support ring. It can be a PITA to push it back and remove the clip.

If your removing by yourself and the shaft is sliding back when you pull the collar back with the pump on, then take pump off, place something down inside prop where shaft goes to act like a spacer and put pump back on. Just snug up pump bolts and then try again. This will keep shaft from moving.

removing by hammer and replace RAD or other seal. Next times will be very easy removing shaft. Take off pump and pull a shaft.
