    Restoring rub rails and sponsons

I know the heat gun works for restoring color to sun faded sponsons.

My SL rub rails and nose piece is a faded red/pink color now. I want to get it back to a bright red if I can.

What have you guys done to restore them?

It works great on the nose piece. We did it on Al's Hurricane and it looked great. You need to clean it very well first though. Try a white scotch brite and simple green to clean it first.

X I actually ripped all that gargbage off an added turf rails. Looks super clean an up to date. If you go ahead with the turf get the billet bow eye for the bling effect

Hey X, if you don't find a fix for the rails that makes you happy, I have a another brand new set of red side and rear rub rails.

How does $25 plus actual shipping cost for all 3 pieces sound?

    That would be really good.

What do you think shipping would be to 44132?
