    Trailer Overhaul

I am going to start my long overdue watercraft maintenance in a couple of weeks but i needed to do some trailer maintenance first. My 01 GPR with 306 hours has hardly any corrosion but my trailer does. The trailer is acting like a sacrificial anode. I took a while to get all the bolts off as 75% of them were rusted on. The cut off tool helped with that. I then used a wire wheel on a die grinder to get the corrosion off of the trailer. I used a couple of coats of rattle can galvanizing and I think it came out pretty good. I had changed the axel, leaf springs and tires about 2 months ago.

    Next comes the ski:

    Carb Re-build / Re-Jet
    F/As
    Primer
Choke Plate & Acc. Pump Removal
    Gas Valves
    Tunnel Reinforcement
    Jims Ride Plate
    SS 800 Grate
    Oil Block Off
    Seat Re-Cover
    UMI Steering

I know it cost a few $$$$$ only use stainless steel bolts to bolt all your trailer parts back on well worth the extra $$$$$$$ also hose the trailer off good after you get out of the salt water!

Just done my trailer.. got it powder coated black and bought all stainless steel bolts, they are the best bolts to buy even though they cost abit more it is worth it.
