    pre mix conversion

I've decided to run pre-mix instead of using the injection pump. A few questions though. Should I remove the pump assy. or just cap the lines? What do i do about the oil tank buzzer? and what ratio pre mix should I use in a 750 fuji eng. (1993 sl 750)? Thanks

It is recommended that you remove the pump, and install a block off plate. I think some have pulled the pump, removed the pump gear, and reinstalled the pump body.
You can disconnect the oil sending switch, or remove the blue wire in the elect box. It closes contacts to ground to feed common to the buzzer.
40:1 premix. 32:1 for breakng in new rings, or after a rebuild.

Don't forget to plug the hose barbs on the carb where the oil lines connect.

You can also install a 33 Ohm resistor on the blue terminal in the E-box (jumpered over to ground) and your MFD will show full on the oil indicator.

No MFD on the 1993 SL750, just the buzzer.

33 ohm bypass doesn't apply if there is no MFD display.

Something to think about when going on long rides when pre-mix, from then on you'll need to take oil with you if you need to gas up on a long ride. This is one of the reasons I haven't changed over, besides the convenience and the fact that they (oil system) rarely fail.

Remove the pump and guts. Then install the block off plate.

Cap the oil fittings at the carbs.

You can just tie up the oil level float in the full position.

Recommend using 40:1 - 1qt oil to 10 gal gas
