    i think since the fzr came out it's about the same money for a gprxp. Gprxp is still a little faster though, and i wonder if it gets better fuel economy at 75mph than the modded fzr.

    no way man. you can build a conversion for less than half of the cost of a fz. now if you have someone build it for you, that's another story.

    you're right you can build one.. but i was comparing the cost of buying a used one on ebay like the last two up there versus buying a used fzr. Why pay 9000 for a gprxp when you can get a new fzr for 10.3 or a used for less (but harder to find). Now pjs wanted 7500 i think so thats getting a lot more competitive.

    true, but the fact of the matter remains that the gprxp conversion, dollar for dollar, will outperform an fzr. At least for the near future.

    Add to that the fact that used values of donor ski's gets lower and lower each year, and it's hard to build a case for the fzr, unless you need the rough water capability of the huge hull.
