    Sponsons on SL650?

Is it worth it for me to get sponsons for my 94 SL650? Which ones fit?

What are you looking to gain from them?

The sponsons work well in helping to get rid of porpoising.

Some sponsons also help in carving hard turns.

I personally like the SLT sponsons. A bit shorter, and not as aggressive as some others. Still allows you to do donuts, good top speed, and eliminate some porpoising.

Alsmost any Sponson will fit that ski. You'll just need to correctly install them. (location is key)

That sounds exactly what I was thinking. Little better handling without being too aggressive. Thanks!

my advice would be to not add sponsons...everyone who rides my 650 loves the way it can do spins and tricks and it handles very well for what it is. adding sponsons would eliminate some of that.

being a big guy myself, I can say if you are a bigger guy and you want sponsons for stability, do youself a huge favor and buy a bigger ski...trust me.

Some sponsons will limit playing. ^^^^^^^

    SLT sponsons will not.

    Ask Randy, Beerdart, or Kedanno.

I was doing all kinds of spin outs/donuts at the gathering on her ride.

ok, I will rephrase, adding certain sponsons will eliminate some of that.
