Rxpx Surge hose kit riva vs r&d??

Ok quick question... I was going to get the Riva Pro Series Blow off valve but noticed I then had to relocate the inner cooler and some other stuff needed to be done. After all was said and done it would cost me somehwere around $1500.00 or so..

I found a R&D rxpx surge hose kit that doesn't require any relocation and would cost about $225.00.

So my question is, is there a problem with the R&D part or a reason that Riva hasn't come up with something like it? Seems to be more cost effecient but is it the better way to go?

    Thanks

Why do you need the BOV? Put some RIVA SCer washers on that X SCer with McMaster washers first. Unless you come unhooked alot or race, I would spend money on something else beside the BOV.

NOt sure what the r and d blow off valve setup looks like but i would not atempt to run a blow off valve on any hose that was not metal, etc.
I think all the after market hoses that are for the stock X hose cluster are not solid.

haha, Had to check out the store and there it was.
Havnt been there in a while. (r and d surge hose)

I see where you coming from on the cost for riva relocation kit, rear exhaust, pro block off,s or covers, and thru hull tip.
It is a sweet setup but does cost some bones.

I new the relocation kit was only 550+ but didnt realize it could not be done with stock exhaust.

I would spend the 200 bucks on something else. JMO
Its cost more if you have to buy both blue hoses.

Get a boost gauge and then if you still have to have the BOV at least you'll know if it's leaking.

BOV = future boost leak And not needed with an 08 and up charger or kit IMO... especially lake riding... as you say that's all you ride!
