Bolts and Studs for Reed Spacers

I already have the spacers and gaskets, just need the longer bolts and studs to go with them for my 93 sl650.

You don't need the studs. They just make it easier to install the parts.

    You can use all bolts.

Just add 3/8" to your existing bolts/studs for the new ones.

I know Sears Hardware has some SS metrics, but not the long ones. I have an Ace Hardware (real hardware store) that has the longer ones.

If I remember correctly, I found some regular steel bolts at a Lowes.

Of course you can get them from Mcmaster Carr.

I took a trip down to Ace and was able to match up the bolts, but frankly I would like to stick to OEM parts if I can...call it a pet peeve.

if I dont need the studs maybe I will just go ahead and buy new bolts from bikebandit.com then since that saves me quite a bit.

the studs I have now will work?

No, they need to be 3/8" longer.

I was just saying you can replace the 6 studs with 6 bolts instead.

The studs just make it a touch easier to install a gasket, spacer, gaket, reed, gasket and intake manifold all at once.

    ohhh, gotcha.

the studs are actually cheaper so I will probably go ahead and grab those since they will help out a bit anyway, unless I can find some used ones somewhere.
